Banks call them CD’s, and we call them Share Certificates. That is just a semantic difference, but whatever you call them you get guaranteed interest for a fixed period of time. With our new higher rates WCLA CU Share Certificates are an attractive alternative to bank CD’s or the volatility of the stock market.

We now offer several different Share Certificates to meet everyone's needs.  Our Share Certificates start as low as $500 and run for a term as short as 6 months and as high as 48 months.

And now we have added a new twist to our certificates that gives you added flexibility. For all certificates purchased after June 5^th, 2000, you may make a one-time withdrawal of up to 25% of the principal without any penalty. So now our certificates offer not only guaranteed interest, but also the flexibility to withdraw part of your money if you need it before the certificate matures.
